THIS IS MY FIRST YEAR DEALING WITH MIAMI DADE SCHOOL BUS SERVICE FOR MY DAUGHTER AND IT IS VERY UNRELIABLE!!! ON THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL THEY DID NOT PICK HER UP FROM HER STOP AND THEY LEFT HER AT THE SCHOOL WHEN SCHOOL WAS OVER ON THE 3rd DAY THEY PICKED HER UP FROM HER STOP BUT NEVER PICKED HER UP WHEN SCHOOL WAS OVER. ON THE 4th DAY ITS 7AM AND WE ARE STILL HERE WAITING FOR THE BUS TO PICK HER UP!!! SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PICKED UP AT 6:40AM!!! THIS IS WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSE TO RELY ON FOR OUR KIDS SAFELY GETTING TO AND FROM SCHOOL!!! THE SUPERVISORS DON’T CARE, THE BUS DRIVERS DON’T CARE AND THE SCHOOL “MIAMI SPRINGS SR HIGH” DON’T CARE!!! WHEN SCHOOL IS OVER THEY LEAVE THE KIDS OUTSIDE TO FIGURE IT OUT!! THATS SAD!! THEY NEED TO DO BETTER!!!

To who’s ever child is riding this bus, it’s not safe the driver slams on the brakes and they don’t even have lights in the back of the bus and there driving with the doors open!!! so please someone call and report this, I’ve called many times and got no answer or a voice mail machine!!!! Please help keep our kids safe and get the bus and driver off the roads!!!

Called today because my son's bus info wasn't showing up. They informed me that it wasn't even in the system. His IEP says he gets bus transportation, and she was helpful by entering the info in the system for me and informed me it would take 48 hours. My older daughter has to take the bus to school with pickup/drop-off at her old elementary school. The bus was there on time and waiting for at least 5 minutes for kids before taking off.

The afternoon bus times are horrible. My child gets out at 3pm and I still end up having to go to the school to pick him up at 3:45 because the bus hasn't arrived at the school to pick the kids up. They are short 70 drivers, they need to find another way to get people kids home in a timely manner.

Bus 5021 that picks up kids at miami heights male driver needs to be suspended or fired or something. He treats the kids like the are adults and yells at them i will not accept anyone disrespecting my children and i will take this as far as i need to to deal with this situation. Almost even ran over my kids uncle when he wanted to ask him what is going with his atitude and the kids.

The buses are old, dirty, breakdown often, and very polluting. Many drivers get lost easily, drive reckless and don't do anything to stop the kids from smoking weed in the back of the bus. The replacement buses should have bathrooms in them since desegregation busing has kids on the bus sometimes for over an hour.

Called to report a speeding school bus, it was going so fast that when it stopped at 139 ave and 160th bus stop the smell of burnt rubber filled the street. When I confronted the driver that she was speeding her answer was "I almost missed the stop". I insisted she was speeding so much the screetch of her tires was huge as well as the smell of the burning tires. Worse than that when we saw our kids they were red and sweating profusely. The bus did not have AC working. The temperature inside the bus was extremely high. Outside it was over the 80's. I called MDC school bus transportation, Not only to complain but worried a kid at the back, if the bus where the little fresh air from the door opening to leave kids out was not felt, could overheat and perhaps even pass out and the driver could miss a kid left inside the bus. She wasn't checking who got off , she didn't even know her bus stops. Well, after almost 10 minutes waiting for a supervisor to come to the phone I was just able to say "I want to file a complaint". I told her the route 5429 after she asked. I just said the bus was speeding very much......and that's it. She said "Sorry, we have an emergency...kept me waiting for almost 15 minutes and then they hung up. I called again asked to be transferred to another supervisor that wouldn't hang up. I was waiting for 19 munutes after transfer. Nobody answered. I called the general number again. Now, no one gets my call. Even though the online website says they close at 6pm. I am writing this review at 5:08 pm. I tried calling again and again and again before writing this. One more thing, the supervisor of a school bus transportation service does not consider a speeding bus driver with a bus full of children an emergency? That is all she let me tell her before keeping me on the phone and not taking more calls. And how do you call a school bus full of kids with no AC. I asked the kids why didn't you open the windows?
The answer: Oh, we can't open the windows unless there is an emergency. Tell that to the kids sitting at the back.

Miami-Dade district is terrible. I could go on and on like having no way of doing anything about complaints to new private owned busses they’re chartering to I guess help them because they don’t have enough busses. Yo no having a rainy day policy for when kids are left behind. Terrible service.
