Today I was scheduled for a 2 o’clock appt. I arrived at 2 and was called back shortly after. A very kind girl did my X-rays and then I went back to the room I was put in and waited for hours LITERALLY! I understand having wait times but the fact that I waited on the dentist for 2 hours after my X-rays were done is INSANE!!!! 4:20 came around and I was not seen so I left. As I already had walked out of my room and making my way to the front door is when the dentist was ready to see me. The girls who work there that I interacted with were all very kind which is why I even give it any stars at all but waiting on the dentist for 2 hours is unacceptable and unprofessional being so I can hear him in the next room chatting away about irrelevant topics with his other patient taking his sweet as time! People have lives with actual agendas and places to be and things to do. Yes, things happen people fall behind on time and that’s understandable but it would be lovely if patients time is respect as well. It’s unfortunate because I was genuinely looking forward to my visit and even checked the ratings before making an appt as I was in search of not just a good dentist but a positive experience.

Everyone is very pleasant and friendly. They make you feel safe and comfortable. The dentist and the hygienist are very good and they ask you all during your procedure if you are alright. I'm very glad I decided to go to American Dental in Wyomissing Pa.

Went in last month for tooth pain. Sent me to their oral surgeon. 4 visits $1000 insurance money and over $300 out of pocket to pull the tooth. I told them I still have a tooth that needs filling and very painful. They schedule me for 4 months later and say they will not take care of the tooth that needs filling but they will clean my teeth only. ANd make another appointment months after that. 4 visits for a tooth pull. MONEY GRAB!!! They said they would call me back see if they could take care of the painful tooth before cleaning and that was 3 weeks ago. I am done with them and they can cancel my Sept appointment.
And the pictures I have of inside the Oral Surgeons office in Kenhorst looked dirty and not sanitary. Jars of supplies with no lids. The Doctor was great but the room they did the work was not clean looking.

Dentists were knowledgeable and friendly
However the desk staff were sarcastic. Also I sat in the chair without staff contact for 50 min. WYOMISSING location only

The first visit being so long between approval from insurance and the appointment they missed the antithetic prescription. Can’t complain too much because the time between submitting insurance and getting a treatment plan. The appointment today went very well. Wait for the anesthesia they took me back at the scheduled time and went over and above what was to bone and did the work quickly and painlessly. I will be going back for more work
